and Why it Matters

The fact of the matter is the target market you’re aiming it is moving, and you need to move with it. And this isn’t just an opinion, it’s a fact.

How Important is Google Today?
In October of 2020, Google had a market share of 88.14% of the search engine market. With a statistic like that, let’s just say we’re going to put most of our focus there for obvious reasons.
Since Google’s inception, it’s been a market leader in search engines.
Why? Well, you just find what you’re looking for faster. It’s more efficient, a time saver. This makes it the standard that it still is today.
So I won’t waste any more of your time explaining how powerful Google is, you probably already know anyways.
So let’s move onto the components of Google.
If you use Google to search on your phone, tablet, or computer; you’ve come across Google Business Profiles a lot. It used to be called Google My Business, but it's rebranded recently.
In fact, these listings come up a whopping 93% of the time in local Google results
That’s, well, A LOT.
So what is it?
Let’s say you search for “Pizza Near Me”. What are your results?
Well if there’s ads, you’ll see them first but immediately after is, in fact, usually the Google Business Profile listings. It’s normally a 3-pack of listings, with links for each and the results of the search on the map.
After the 3-pack of listings, there will be a link to “View All” results.
Now ask yourself now that you know what it is, how often do you click to “View All”? How often do you take action on one of the 3 listings that show up FIRST? Do you get where I’m going with this?
Showing up in the first 3 listings of Google Business Profile is one of the most powerful ways to attract new business, whether you’re in the food industry, retail, service, etc., you can benefit from Google My Business.
In the old days, it was all about your website, but now, a well-balanced Internet marketing strategy is to align both (website and Google Business Profile).
How Do I Get into the top 3 listings of Google Business Profile?
That right there is the magical question, and I don’t have enough hours in a day to explain it all. And, to be honest, it’s something that I’m good at and don’t openly share my secrets.
There really are only
